SYDNEY: Former skipper of Pakistan cricket team and master of
swing bowling Wasim Akram revealed
that Bilawal Bhatti’s selection in
the team was controversial. -
He said that Pakistan
should have played with five genuine bowlers, but they still kept on trying
four bowlers in the match.
Talking about Mohammad
Irfan he said that he don’t know what happen to his pace in just a few month.
It dropped at least 10 kph.
Commenting on Bilawal’s
irresponsible bowling he said that he knew that selectors wanted Bilawal in the
team but captain and coach refused to select him in World Cup squad.
He is a talented cricketer
but not ready for the mega event, Akram added.
It is pertinent to mention
here that Pakistan lost 2nd One Day International (ODI) against New Zealand
with 119 runs margin. Bilawal gave 93 runs in his 10 overs without taking any
wicket. It is the worst bowling performance by a Pakistani bowler in International
match.
